About

Read about what I'm up to these days on LinkedIn. My name is Brian, a 2010 graduate of Vassar College, and current student at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. I wrote this blog between 2008 and 2010 for Vassar's Offices of Admissions and Communications as a student intern.

At Vassar, I was a double major in History and Political Science and a minor in Art History. Outside of the classroom, I was Vice President for Operations of the Vassar Student Association, Vassar's student government. Previously, I served as Editor in Chief of The Miscellany News, Vassar's student newspaper since 1866, and researched the paper's long history. I served on a host of campus committees including the Committee on Admissions and Financial Aid and the History Major's Committee. I was also Co-Chair of the Senior Class Gift Committee, which raised a record-breaking $22,800 to create the Class of 2010 Endowed Scholarship Fund.

If you have any questions about life at Vassar, e-mail me at brfarkas@alum.vassar.edu and find my professional profile on LinkedIn.
